The Breakwater
Brixham Breakwater is an easily accessible, huge fishing mark with a wide variety of different
species to catch. Most species can be caught here.
The record Conger Eel was once held here, as the rocky Breakwater provides an excellent home for
some huge Conger, Wrasse and Pollock.
Most species can be caught here. In the summer, float fishing for Mackerel, Garfish and Wrasse
provides the most enjoyment at this mark;
as well as spinning, LRF and bottom fishing. In the Winter, bottom fishing can produce large Conger
Eels, Dogfish, Bull Huss and Whiting.
Very snaggy area with rocks and boats, so be careful!
